For Teachers

Web Quest purpose: development of foreign communicative competence, students' personal qualities with the help of the material about Ukraine.

Expected personal, subject and metasubject results

Personal results:

- formation of motivation of learning foreign languages and aspiration to self-improvement;

- vocational guidance of students, their performance of various social roles;

- understanding of possibilities of self-realization by means of a foreign language;

- formation of communicative competence of intercultural communication;

- development of such qualities, as will, commitment, creativity, initiative, empathy, diligence, discipline.

Metasubject results:

- development of communicative competence, including ability to cooperate with people around;

- development of research educational actions, including skills of work with information: search and allocation of the necessary information, generalization and fixing of information;

- development of the user abilities of work with the computer;

- development of semantic reading, including ability to define a subject to predict contents of the text based on heading / keywords, to determine the main idea;

- implementation of regulatory actions of introspection, self-checking, self-image in the course of communicative activity.

Subject results:

- to report short data on sights of Ukraine;

- to read authentic texts and to understand the main idea;

-to get the idea of features of Ukrainian culture;

- to understand  a role of foreign language skills in the modern world.
